We have put together three suggested itineraries that cover the main sites of antiquities and places of interest. We have also tried to offer varying numbers of days for the trips.

Remember that these are only a guide and we are entirely flexible in our programmes. You can mix and match any of our suggestions or we will assist you in putting together your own tailor-made programme.

  • All meals included - breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • We can arrange UK transfers and Group Travel discounts with most national rail services.
  • Full risk assessments available for student and youth group visits.
  • We can obtain International Student Identity Cards and International Teacher Identitiy Cards which entitle the holders to many discounts both in Egypt and at home.

Deluxe Classical Tour & Nile Cruise

11 to 14 days

This programme takes in all the classical sites in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. The itinerary also includes a four-day Nile cruise and visits to sites and momuments of Egypt's more recent past. These include Coptic Cairo - Early Coptic Churches and sites visited by the Holy Family; Visit to the Citadel - stronghold of Saladin and Mosque of Mohamed Ali.

Accomodation is 5*quality throughout. This holiday is conducted at a sedate pace and there is plenty of time to fit in extra excursions and visits to more unusual sites.

Classic Tour & Nile Cruise

8 to 10 days

Enjoy all the classical sites and places of antiquites in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan with this Classic Tour that includes a four-day Nile Cruise. There is still plenty of opportunity to see some of the more unusual sites and take part in out of the ordinary excursions. The main difference between this and the Deluxe Tour is that there is slightly less time available for additional excursions and some of the more difficult to reach or time consuming expeditions will be unavailable. Once again the accomodation for this trip is 4*/5* quality.

Highlights Tour

6 to 8 days

The Highlights Tour offers all the Classic sites in Cairo and Luxor as well as the opportunity to take part in some other exciting and unusual excursions. We would recommend this programme for first-time visitors to Egypt or for Student groups. We can arrange excellent accomodation at a price to suit your budget.

This programme offers either an extended stay in Luxor or there is also an opportunity for the more adventurous groups to visit the Red Sea area and take part in a variety of watersports and desert quad-biking - as well as partying the night away in one of the many nightspots.

Luxor was the ancient capital of Egypt and exploring the region would take you to sights both on the East and West Banks of the Nile River and one would feel like it’s a walk-in ‘live’ museum with history dating back 5000 years.

Tour the East bank with visits to the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. The avenue of sphinxes is the welcoming sight that beckons you to enter and walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall where 134 columns loom over you with beautiful paintings and reliefs. Head to the Sacred Lake for a picturesque shot of the Temple of Karnak.

When the sun sets, visit the Luxor Temple as the light comes on magnifying the beautiful temple. Wake up early the next day to go on a balloon flight over Luxor taking in the sights.
